Depuis la fin du XIXe siècle, la ville de Fontenay-sous-Bois s’est progressivement constitué un patrimoine artistique, riche aujourd’hui de près de 400 œuvres. Les 140 œuvres sélectionnées reflètent les grands mouvements de l’histoire de l’art, depuis le portrait de Saint-Maur daté du XVIIe siècle jusqu’au portrait d’Olive par Dale Joseph Rowe, en passant par Chagall, Vasarely ou Dietrich-Mohr.

LES POMMES MARQUéES - ARTISTES AU VERGER

La méthode de marquage des pommes est connue depuis le 12è siècle. Elle consiste à occulter du soleil une partie de l'épiderme du fruit, soit avec un papier collé avec de la gélatine, soit avec un sticker, soit directement avec une peinture alimentaire. A Montreuil, on a surtout utilisé le pochoir en papier, puis, à partir de 1898, des négatifs photographiques, les deux étant collés avec de la gélatine.

ArtCité 2012 art salon at Fontenay-Sous-Bois. I won the Salon d'Automne award and will be exhibiting in October 2013 on the Champs Élysées in Paris.
